About the app

FreeBook is a community app for printed books. Readers list books they no longer need, and others can browse the listings and request a title they want to read next.

Once the owner agrees, the person requesting the book provides a parcel shipping label and the book is sent. In-app messaging lets both sides coordinate the shipment. The idea behind it: books stay in circulation instead of gathering dust on a shelf or ending up in the bin.
